Lina Butorina-Kiva was born in the Ukraine and completed her undergraduate and post graduate studies at the Piano Department of Kiev State Academy. As a Professor of Piano at Lviv State Conservatoire she gave many critically acclaimed performances with the Ukrainian National Orchestra and also with leading Ukrainian musicians touring Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Polish and Irish cities. She has won numerous awards for performance and for accompaniment in which she is highly sought after. Lina has recorded for both television and radio in Ukraine. She now lives in Ireland and is establishing a reputation as an accompanist and soloist. She has worked with Soprano Toni Walsh, Georgian Bass David Jozhaze, Violinist Zoe Conway and the Celtic Choristers Male Voice Choir.
